Ooze by JJ Toner
This short story by JJ Toner is very unusual but I really enjoyed it. It’s about the first contact between two very different species. If you like a bit of SciFi reading and want to read a story that doesn’t take too much time you need to check this out.
This was a fun book cover to design. It’s very simple but I think it is perfect for the story. Sometimes simple is best! Also JJ is so much fun to work with. Check out his blog at:

So if anyone is needing a fairly cheap book cover for their novel they are writing (for example for #ROW80) give me a shout. Right now I’m just doing eBook covers until I get a handle on what I’m doing. Print covers I hope to work on soon.
I will work with you to design the cover the way you want it to be. I can buy pics from photo sites or take some pics myself where needed. Just let me know what you are looking for and I’ll help you.
I like to be able to read the book you are writing to be able to tailor your cover to your book. If you are not comfortable with that we can work off a description you give me about your work. No big deal either way. Usually if I read the book I can sometimes add something to the cover that might draw a potential reader to it that you otherwise might not think of putting on your cover.

I did it! I went out today and told myself I was not coming back home until I got all my Christmas shopping done. Believe it or not……I accomplished my goal! Now I just have to get it all wrapped!
Hopefully now I can focus on getting other things done….like more book covers! I also have a very special gift I’m trying to get accomplished for Lauralynn Elliott. 🙂
